The CCS Process


The adjuster contacts CCS with the claim information — Insured`s name, address, phone number; claim number; type of vehicle; deductible/depreciation; and stolen equipment. The four ways to contact CCS are; toll free phone number, (800-227-8997, option 6), directly through our website (www.ccsclaims.com), via fax (800-227-2335), or through the CCC Auto Verse software system. We’ll take it from there. Our Claim Specialists will contact your insured same day. We confirm the original equipment being claimed and identify the current year/ make/model replacement equipment using our state-of-the-art equipment identification database system. Our Claim Specialists coordinate all of the necessary details with the insured and installation facility. Once the claim is complete, you receive an easy-to-read invoice for equipment and labor. We will keep you up-to-date with any relevant information you need to make the appropriate decision on the claim.

 
CCS Service Options

• CCS Full Service — Our claim specialists will correctly determine the original equipment, find the appropriate replacement equipment, and arrange for an installation at any of our 3,500 stereo installation centers located throughout the country. We will verify that the equipment is available, schedule the installation for a time and place that is convenient for your insured, and follow up to confirm that the installation was completed. The insured signs off on the installation, which also serves as a receipt and a direction to pay in the states that require it.

• CCS/Circuit City/Best Buy — After identifying the entitled replacement equipment, CCS ships the equipment directly to the insured and also sends an installation voucher. The voucher can be sent via email, fax, or by regular mail and enables the insured to have their installation completed at any of the over 1200 Circuit City/Best Buy stores located throughout the United States. The insured is able to choose a time that is convenient and at which Circuit City/Best Buy store to have the installation completed. Once the insured signs off on the installation the document serves as a direction to pay in the states that require it. This service option allows the claim to be closed quickly, in many cases as little as one day.

• CCS Express Service — Similar to CCS/Circuit City/Best Buy, in that the replacement equipment is sent directly to the insured, the insured also receives a labor allocation under separate cover. CCS Express is usually utilized for simple claims involving one or two pieces of equipment. This service allows the insured to have their installation completed anytime and anywhere they choose. This service option also allows the claim to be closed in as little as one day.

All three CCS services are offered to each insured and our claim specialists work with your insured to determine which service is most convenient. In addition, CCS will collect any applicable deductible/depreciation and provide a simple, easy to read invoice itemized for equipment, installation labor, and materials.
